Klyde Warren Park
A park on top of a highway?! This beautiful 5.2-acre deck park is a place you’ll want to check out. Grab a bite to eat at the food trucks; then let the kids run and play in the open spaces. There’s a fun Children’s Park as well. For more information about the park, including where to park, click here.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
We love going to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, which is indoors, but it also has a really cute outdoor play area for kids to enjoy. Kids can climb in Leap Frog Forest, play music on the xylophones, and enjoy looking at the running water. The outdoor play area is accessible before entering the museum and is a great place to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch.
